I'm coming off a month of intensive glass kiln work and wanted to share some of the latest. Thanks to my friend Jim, I've got some images to share. Hoping to have a new glass gallery up soon. here is a sneak peak.

Hey Dan,

I like this in landscape format. I did like it horizontally okay...but when I see it on your blog, it really works best for me that way. Now, I can only see the vertical format as the art being tipped on the side.

Jim, I have to agree, although I'm not fully happy with it as a landscape I think this is the most fully realized way to appreciate it. I'm thinking that if I made this piece again about twice as large then the scaling of the glass pieces would really start to work. As it is now, I'm still seeing the pieces of glass as to clearly cut out by human hand in style.

Thanks for sharing! In case you are willing to bore holes in a wide variety of materials, often you cannot do so by hand as creating these holes manually can definitely lead to a lot of mistakes.
